TV Shows for November

‘Designated Survivor’ season two will continue through November. One episode is released per week. This series, starring Kiefer Sutherland, is in the political genre. The second season has continued to secure praise.

Marvel’s The Punisher has been eagerly anticipated, it is set for release on November 17. This series involved a conspiracy, Jon Bernthal playing the starring role, and a vigilante on the warpath – a good mix!

‘She’s Gotta Have It’ is Spike Lee’s latest creation, and turns a popular 1986 film into a series. There appears to be excitement regarding this release, which features a strong cast for the first season.

Three Films to Watch

‘Mudbound’ is a 2017 periodic drama, set in World War II. The film premiered at the Sundance Film festival to rave reviews. There has also been suggestions that it could be an Oscar contender. The film tackles issues such as racism and PTSD.

‘The Babysitter’ is a more light-hearted, dark comedy to watch. Starring Bella Thorne, the film has received mixed reviews. When ‘Cole’ stays up too late, he becomes hunted by a satanic cult…!

The ‘Meyerowitz Stories’ reached Netflix in mid-October, but is still certainly worth watching. Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman and Ben Stiller are among those to appear in the film. The film follows three generations of a Jewish family.

Classic Show to Binge-Watch for October

The selection for this month is ‘Prison Break’. Prison Break’s popular 2017 revival isn’t available, but seasons one thru four are available on Netflix. See Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell escape from Fox River Prison, before attempting to bring down a powerful organisation.

Happy binge-watching for the month ahead!
