The course will study the history of football in depth, providing a unique educational experience, and for Leicester fans and residents, it offers them the opportunity to get to learn even more about Leicester’s remarkable triumph.
As mentioned, this course will be focused on the history of football. The United Kingdom is well known as the motherland of football, and in the past few decades, the game has gone through a rapid transformation. Within the course, additional focus will be placed on Leicester City’s remarkable title victory from 2016. This was when Leicester won the Premier League title, despite being 5000-1 outsiders at the start of the season. This achievement is commonly lauded as the biggest shock in football history.
Unlike a regular University course – which usually lasts three years – this course will last just three weeks. Even better – the course is free to sign up for! However for those that want to go the extra mile – for £32, patrons will be able to get unlimited access to course notes, as well as receiving a certificate of achievement for their efforts, once the course is completed. The course runs online, meaning it is easy to fit it around your University schedule, or for the wider community, their work life.
