The University of Birmingham is a University located in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England. The University gained its status in 1900, but dates its origins back to 1828. There are approximately 34,000 students at the University – making it one of the most populous in the United Kingdom. With two other universities located in Birmingham, it is a popular and lively place to study. The University consistently performs strongly in the academic league tables. Overall, this is a strong University.
