The University of Central Lancashire is a University located in Preston, England. The University is frequently referred to as ‘UCLan’. The University offers a wide variety of courses. There are approximately 24,000 students at the University. The motto of the University translates as ‘From the Ground to the Sun’. The University was founded in 1882, though it took until 1992 to secure University status.
